Laquita Mitchell, soprano; performed at New York City Opera, Washington National Opera, Opera Comique in Paris, San Francisco Opera, and many others.
Jamison Walker, tenor; presently vocal soloist for the U.S. Army Signal Corps Band at Ft. Gordon, GA, performed in 20 Operas.
Kevin Short, Bass-Baritone; performed at Metropolitan Opera, Washington National Opera, Opera Comique, and many others.
Markus Beam, Baritone; Deutsche oper Berlin, Theater St. Galen Switzerland, Chicago Opera Theater, and many others.
Indra Thomas, Soprano; Royal Albert Festival in London, choregies d'Orange in France, foremost Aida in the world.
Wounded Warriors will be special guests, in honor of Veteran's Day.
The Jessye Norman School of the Arts is celebrating the beginning of the 10th year of providing professional fine arts education for some of the most disadvantaged youth in our community, tuition free. In addition to daily after school instruction in dance, drama, creative writing, visual arts, and music, assistance with homework and tutorials are available daily. |
