The Millennium Brass Quintet
Comfortable in jazz and pops styles as well as the classical idiom, the members of the Millennium Brass display a rare versatility in their playing. The first appearance of the Millennium Brass on the Harry Jacobs Series coincided with the big February snowstorm in 2010. Only a handful of hardy souls braved the elements to hear a magnificent concert that night. Barring a weather disaster in April, HJCMS audience will be able to experience the brilliant virtuosity, dynamic programming, and unmatched musical excitement that marks all performances of the Millennium Brass --truly the ensemble for the new century.
