The Vega String Quartet
The Vega String Quartet is on the cutting edge of the new generation of chamber music ensembles. They have performed all over the world in the last decade, but since 2006, the Vega String Quartet has been the full-time Quartet-in-Residence at Emory University. This association has allowed them time to mature and complete several musical projects, to collaborate with some of the world's finest musicians (such as the St. Petersburg Quartet, Christopher O'Riley, and the Eroica Trio) and to prepare and perform significant world premieres. Their concert opening our 2012-2013 Series promises to be an appropriate start to an exciting season.
